Geometry Dash SubZero
The official wiki says Geometry Dash SubZero was released on 21 December 2017. It has three exclusive levels: Press Start (Normal, 4 stars, MDK), Nock Em (Hard, 6 stars, Bossfight), and Power Trip (Harder, 8 stars, Boom Kitty).
The Nock Em article says that level introduces the wave and the spider, that it has no visible form portals and uses text cues instead, that it takes 102 seconds, and that the minimum jump count is 76. On 4 April 2024 RobTop changed the ending because the 2.2 end trigger in SubZero was broken.
The frame on this page is a browser file from lolygames.github.io. It is not the mobile app, and it does not grant the app’s 21 achievements.
Documented controls
The Portals page says the wave propels on an upward diagonal while the input is held, and descends on a downward diagonal when it is released. Both directions move at a constant speed, and the vertical speed matches the horizontal speed. The mini wave is steeper: its vertical speed is double its horizontal speed. The wiki also says the wave does not respond to jump pads or rings, because its momentum does not change.
Nock Em is the SubZero level the wiki names as the introduction of the wave and the spider. The spider control is also on the Portals page: while touching a surface, it teleports to the nearest overhead surface and inverts gravity.
